Children's Program: Dig Into Reading

Who: For children entering grades 1-5 in the fall

What: Log what you're reading and attend fun events to win weekly prizes

When: From Monday, June 24th to Monday, August 18th

How:

1. Sign up online. You can decide to track the number of books, or the number of pages you read.
2. At least once/week, log in & click “Add/Edit Log.”
   1. If you are keeping track of pages: Enter the # of pages you’ve read under “Quantity.”
   2. If you are keeping track of books: Put a “1”  in the quantity field and enter the title and author of each book you read.
3. Earn a small prize every week by completing at least 3 books, or 75 pages.
4. Earn 1 chance to win a $10 Target gift card each week for every 1 book, or 25 pages you read.
5. Read at least 25 books, or 600 pages by 8/18 to win a Snotop gift certificate!

Why: Studies have shown that kids who read during the summer perform better in the fall when school resumes!
