A program designed by OCC and the Onondaga Department of Social Services to aid locals in transitioning from welfare to the workforce. Receive individual case management, participate in the Community Work Experience program, and receive childcare reimbursement and transportation to and from program-related activities. Participants must be referred by the Social Services Department.
The Mature Workforce Alliance is an organization established with the goal of aiding CNY professionals, ages 40+. The organization hosts training sessions and offers assistance in later-life career planning and strategies.
